Blanket of Air - unit #2

The Breath of Life (Blanket of Air) box is ready. 

There are a couple of items we would like to mention for a few of the activities:

Scrambled Eggs:  You must bring your own peeled hard boiled eggs (medium size) and matches.  Also, this activity has to be performed outside due to the school's fire safety policy.  It is a great activity and one the kids will talk about after! 

Air Pocket:  Bring your own ice cold pack if adding this part to the activity.

Pop the Top: Bring in your own gallon and half gallon jug.  The plastic caps are supplied (please make sure it remains in the box with the pump).  There are a few different sized jugs available in case someone can't bring one, but after about 1 class, the jug hole will most likely leak air.

News Break:  If your class breaks any of the paint stirrers, please replace them with the supply in the Four Winds Cabinet next to the cart in the SATEC Library.

Breath of Life:  This may be one you want to have the teacher or a parent do with you as a presentation due to the time it would take to set up this activity for each of the students wanting to try it. 

Potato Punch: You must bring your own potato(s) and remember to cut the straws.
